2014 Ingelheim Spätburgunder trocken Alte Reben, Ortswein, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, cool, slightly tart nose, red and a few black berries, some old oak, hint of dried flowers. Polished tart, juicy fruit on the palate, light smoky oak, light earthy notes, very elegant acidity, youthful, but fairly well integrated tannins, dark chocolate in the background, good persistence, hint of tobacco and black tea, vegetal traces on a good to very good cool, polished, elegant, juicy finish.
