Firm and deep, finely herbal, very delicately smoky to bacony scent of mixed berries and some cherries, a hint of mushrooms and floral nuances. Ripe, juicy, again very tightly knitted fruit, taut, ripe tannin, nutty and slightly smoky wood aromas, a little tobacco, fine acidity, a hint of cocoa and coffee, also camphor, lasting on the palate, good depth, multilayered, mineral, very good to long, juicy and spicy finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
