Somewhat herbal to slightly medicinal, nutty and hints of dried planty scents of predominantly black berries and a little cherry with delicate bacon and mushroomy hints. Polished, partly preserved fruit with nutty and slightly smoky wood aromas, some pepper and a hint of cocoa, fine sandy, very slightly drying tannin, good persistence, delicate melting, salty and chalky tones, good, slightly spicy finish.
