2019 Ungstein Herrenberg Riesling Spätlese trocken "Am Mandelbaum", Pfalz, Germany

Firm, slightly tobacco and planty and a sour nutty aroma of ripe yellow fruits with dried floral, chalky and earthy notes and hints of yellow spice. Ripe, somewhat warm, sweetish fruit, tart dried-floral to herbal and tobacco notes, fine acidity, some grip of crumbly tannin, good persistence, has substance, quite distinct tart minerality that buffers the sugar well, very good finish.
