2021 Escherndorf Lump Riesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Cool, quite firm and polished, pure-toned citrus-peach nose with a hint of dark berries as well as floral and herbal nuances. Tight, again cool, quite juicy fruit with lively acidity, herbal notes, floral hints and again a hint of dark berries, still a touch yeasty on the palate, lively, fine acidity, good persistence, almost a little vanilla spice, light minerality in the background, still undeveloped, very good finish with bite, grip and delicately sweet juice.
