2020 Escherndorf Am Lumpen 1655 Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Taut and quite deep, still yeasty stone fruit nose with noble citrus aromas, floral and herbal nuances and a hint of dark berries. Firmly woven, juicy fruit with lively, fine acidity, yeasty nuances and some tannic grip, slightly nutty on the palate, delicately woody tones, persistent, hints of tobacco, again also dark berry tones, mineral in the background, still undeveloped, quite complex, has tension, very good, firm, juicy, mineral and nutty-spicy finish.
