2016 Escherndorf Fürstenberg Spätburgunder VDP.Erste Lage trocken "S", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, quite polished, moderately woody-spicy scent of red and a little black berries with delicately dried floral and spicy aromas. Tart, juicy, firm, relatively cool fruit, a little toasty wood with a hint of bacon and tobacco, fine sandy, youthful tannin, some bite, good substance and persistence, some minerality in the background, also dried herbs, very good, tart, juicy and spicy finish
