Taut, juicy fruit with smoke, fresh vegetal flavours, herbs and floral and black berry traces, persistent on the palate, firm, somewhat grippy and with tension, quite clear, tart, somewhat stony minerality, delicate sweetness, but also fine bitter zest tones, very good, quite firm, juicy finish with a lot of bite and again tart minerality. Develops - like some 16s - a little quicker than expected and on the second day moves more towards the original 89, but opened and drunk it is better than young at the moment.
