2009 Röttingen Feuerstein Tauberschwarz trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Some old oak and undergrowth on the nose, predominantly dark berries, earthy and light vegetal notes, hint of tobacco. Clear, tart, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, fine tannins, light acid bite, earthy notes and some oak, good persistence, fairly cool style, hint of mushrooms, not particularly deep, medium body, good to very good finish.
