2022 Michelbach Schwarzriesling VDP.Ortswein trocken "Magnificum", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Warmer scent of partly preserved, predominantly red berries with a hint of herbal spice, a touch of cardamom, as well as nutty and tobacco-like barrel tones. Ripe, warm, quite juicy, slightly jammy fruit, tender, youthful tannin, toasty and smoky wood spice with coffee and cocoa notes, good sustainability, has a certain alcoholic strength and sweet melt, slightly ethereal in the background, good to very good, again warm, somewhat jammy and toasty-wood-spicy finish.
