2018 Michelbach Steinberg Schwarzriesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken "Magnificum", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Very slightly developed, somewhat woody and moderately smoky aroma of predominantly red berries with very slightly dried herbal and tobacco aromas. Ripe, quite juicy fruit, well inserted, somewhat nutty and chocolaty wood, fine, youthful tannin, good persistence, certain power and warmth, a little bread crust in the background, warming alcohol, jammy hints, crumbly tannin, a hint of mushrooms, hints of plums, good to very good, somewhat plummy, wood-spicy and again alcohol-warm finish.
