2015 Michelbach Steinberg Spätburgunder trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Magnificum, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light toasted oak on the nose, dried herbs, red and black berries, light nutty notes, hint of bacon, light mineral notes in the background. Ripe juicy fruit on the palate, partly dried and preserved, full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, smoky notes, good persistence, integrated tannins provide grip, herbaceous traces in the background, slightly salty, ethereal notes rmeiniscent of eucalyptus, hint of cocoa on a very good finish.
