2015 Michelbach Spätburgunder trocken 2samkeit, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Nutty nose, some undergrowth and a hint of tobacco, ripe red and a few black berries, floral traces, touch of root vegetables. Ripe, partly preserved red fruit on the palate, nutty, spicy oak and some cocoa, noticeable warm alcohol, integrated sandy tannins, fairly persistent, light herbaceous notes on a good to very good warm finish.
