2009 Weißburgunder trocken Maximum, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, complex nose, candied citrus fruit and pomaceous fruit, light vegetal traces, herbaceous notes, some light tobacco, tart and sweet spicy notes, prominent mineral notes. Very full-bodied on the palate, tremendously creamy, warm alcohol, tart vegetal and earthy notes, slightly astringent tannins, elegant acidity in the background, concentrated, persistent and has some depth, only slightly rustic, against an almost overwhelming, expansive impression, very good finish.
