Cool, somewhat herbal and also mineral citrus-stone fruit scent with very light yeasty spice and delicate candied notes. Firmly woven, juicy fruit with fine tart spice, again slightly yeasty, also herbs on the palate, persistent, substantial and grippy, lively acidity, clear minerality, good depth, smoky traces, delicate sweetness, good depth, has tension, multi-layered, very good, taut, quite juicy finish with spice and grip. In excellent condition, once again much better than in its troubled youth.

Best to drink: Bis 2026+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Translate to English Hefig-nussiger und etwas vegetabiler Duft nach mürbem Kernobst, etwas Renekloden und Pfirsich mit erdig-mineralischen Tönen sowie leicht krautigen Spuren und einem Hauch Kümmel. Reife, leicht süßliche Frucht im Mund, viel Würze, etwas gebacken-krautig und mit Noten von Kümmel und Muskat, sehr feine Säure, leichter Gerbstoff, gute Substanz und Nachhaltigkeit, viel Griff, im Hintergrund mineralisch-würzig, gewisse Tiefe, an Majoran und Oregano erinnernde Aromen, sehr guter Abgang. Muss reifen.
