2018 Maulbronn Eilfingerberg Weißburgunder VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Württemberg, Germany

A little muted, nutty, vegetal and somewhat green-tobacco core fruit nose with herbal and slightly mushroomy hints as well as nuances reminiscent of grapefruit and light flowers. Youthful, quite polished, delicately sweet fruit with delicately creamy and still noticeable yeast, fine, lively acidity, a touch of carbonic acid, has some grip and good persistence, moderate tannin, candy and earthy tones in the background, a hint of salt, very good, again slightly sweet finish. Still young.
