2020 Wachau DAC Weissenkirchen Sauvignon Blanc Federspiel® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Rather reserved, firm, still smoky-reductive, somewhat nutty and vegetal to dried-herbal core and stone fruit scent with a hint of white and black berries. Still youthful fruit with a hint of candy and pepper, moderate tannin, good substance and persistence, lemon verbena and hints of chamomile in the background, salty and chalky minerality, hints of layered nuts, a little muted, good, slightly warm finish.
