Editor note: Tart nutty nose, partly dried vegetal notes, light earthy and mineral notes, yellow fruit, touch of tobacco and old oak. Full-bodied and fairly firm on the palate, ripe stone fruit, elegant, fairly lively acidity, light tannic grip, full-bodied and persistent, bone dry, noticeable warm alcohol,hint of tobacco, salty traces, fairly dark character, hint of olive oil, veryl ight bitter touch on a very good finish.
Best to drink: 2018-2022+

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It is crossed by the Danube, on whose northern bank slopes many of the most terraced vineyards are located. The partly very steep vineyards are among the steepest vineyards in Austria.
