Editor note: Fairly deep, cool nose, vegetal and light herbaceous notes, tart yellow fruit, floral traces, some mustard seed, earthy and mineral noites. Ripe, juicy, sweetish fruit on the palate, yeasty motes, vegetal and herbaceous notes, prominent mineral notes, fairly prominent acidity, ripe tannins provide grip, good substance and persistence, floral traces, some sugar candy, fairly sweet again on a very good firm, juicy finish.
Best to drink: 2019-2025+

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It lies to the east of the Wachau. The Kremstal, named after the river, stretches north and south of the Danube and includes the city of Krems, the more eastern areas and the small wine communities south of the Danube.
