The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The winery is located in the community of Müllheim (Markgräflerland area) in the German Baden wine growing region. The history goes back to the year 1411. Today it is managed by Hermann Dörflinger. He was among the first to produce fully fermented wines in Baden. The vineyards comprise 20 hectares of vineyards in the locations Pfaffenstück, Reggenhag and Sonnhalde (Müllheim), as well as Römerberg (Badenweiler). They are planted to 70% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gutedel, Silvaner, Nobling and Müller-Thurgau, and 30% with Pinot Noir. The residual sugar is noted on the label. Annually 130.000 bottles of wine were produced.
