2021 Niederhausen Hermannshöhle Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Firm, deep and noble, yeasty, somewhat nutty, finely vegetal and reminiscent of chanterelles with parsley scent of ripe citrus fruits and stone fruits with herbal aromas, a hint of ginger, mint, celery and clear minerality. Tremendously tightly woven, noble, juicy, tart fruit with lively, fine acidity and lots of grip, intense, tart, relatively dark minerality, yeasty and herbal nuances, tobacco and peppery hints, has tension and depth, with air a hint of butter crosses in the background, very good, firm, juicy and intensely tart-mineral finish. Must mature.
