Editor note: Clear nose, citrus and stone fruit aromas, delicate herbaceous, floral and mineral notes. Firm, juicy, sweet fruit on the palate, fairly cool style, extremely elegant acidity, light vegetal, herbaceous and floral traces, persistent, noticeable mineral notes in the background, contours become even more defined with aeration, hint of dark berries in the background, clear contours on a very good, long, firm, juicy finish.

The production area is located in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany and is named after the river of the same name. There is a lot of preserved evidence of the Romans, who already cultivated wine here. The vineyards cover 4,237 hectares of vines along the river from Hunsrück to the mouth of the Rhine near Bingen.
