2011 Niederhausen Hermannshöhle Riesling Spätlese, Nahe, Germany

Restrained, fine peach-apple scent with citrus hints, floral traces and clear minerality. Clear, ripe, sweet and juicy fruit, very fine acidity, persistent on the palate, delicately melting, again clearly mineral tones, fine herbal notes in the background, some candy, certain depth, best balance, but still seems rather undeveloped, quite firm construction, very good finish.
