Editor note: Vegetal, herbaceous and floral notes on the nose, very light smoky traces, light yellow fruit aromas, prominent mineral notes. Clear, fairly firm, juicy, light fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, integrated sweetness, light herbaceous notes, prominent mineral notes, slightly smoky, some depth, good persistence, still young, floral and yeasty traces, very good, fairly cool, polished, elegant, juicy finish.

The eponymous municipality of Bernkastel-Kues with a population of around 8,000 is located on the Middle Moselle in the district of Bernkastel-Wittrich, about 50 kilometres from Trier in the federal state of Rheinald-Pfalz.
