2024 Grüner Veltliner trocken "Horizont", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm and quite deep, distinctly fine-vegetable aroma with restrained yellow fruity notes, a bit of yellow spice, mushrooms, herbs, and bacon. Ripe, again firm, herb-juicy, slightly warm fruit, lively, very fine acidity and a bit of grip, a lot of ethereal-plant spice on the palate, almond-nutty hints and a little white pepper, delicate floral nuances, distinct minerality, still almost compact structure, certain depth, very good, firm finish with a spice reminiscent of cumin. Should still mature a little.
