2018 Bingen Kirchberg Spätburgunder trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Smoky and somewhat tarry-woody scent of black and red berries with toasty and spicy nuances. Ripe, partly preserved, rather dark fruit, toasty and chocolaty notes, fine sandy, somewhat drying tannin, certain warmth, compotent notes, good persistence, a little bite, good to very good, again slightly jammy and rather roasty-woody finish
