The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The winery is located in the municipality of Monzernheim (Wonnegau area) in the German wine growing region of Rheinhessen. It is managed by Helmut (vineyard management) and Andreas Geil (vinification and marketing). The vineyards comprise nine hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Goldberg (Monzernheim), Hasensprung (Bechtheim), as well as Aulerde, Kirchspiel and Steingrube (Westhofen). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Scheurebe, Bacchus, Huxelrebe and Albalonga, and with the red wine varieties Dornfelder, Portugieser, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent. The individual varieties were planted according to the different microclimate conditions of the sites. The cultivation is carried out according to environmentally friendly, sustainable criteria. These include, among other things, a greening with different plants in order to promote the balance in the ecosystem with microorganisms. The physiologically ripe grape material is selectively harvested by hand in several passages. Depending on the type of wine, the grapes are lightly crushed and remain in their own juice for several hours. Some musts are fermented spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts. Vinification is carried out according to non-invasive principles with as few interventions in the cellar as possible. The quality pyramid is divided into three lines: basic (Bonus), site wines (Melior) and top wines (Optimus). The winery is a member of the Generation Riesling winegrowers' association.
