2018 Pinot Noir VDP.Gutswein trocken, Baden, Germany

Smoky to slightly bacony and somewhat toasty aroma of ripe red and black berries with a hint of cherries, dried herbs and a hint of juniper. Tight, youthful fruit with some acidity and present tannins, again smoky and toasty wood aromas on the palate, persistent, medium power, dried herbs in the background, hints of juniper and mineral nuances, good to very good finish with relatively dark fruit and bacony tones.
