2015 Pinot Blanc Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Cool herbaceous nose, still slightly yeasty, delicate nutty traces, citrus and pomaceous fruit, peppery traces, prominent mineral notes. Slightly creamy, fairly cool and tart fruit on the palate, light oak, elegant, lively acidity, slightly astringent tannins, floral traces, hint of red berries, noticeable warm alcohol, lots of vanilla, hint of bacon, vegetal notes, increasingly juicy with aeration, some depth, very good finish, still slightly astringent. Still needs some time to mature.
