2013 trocken Pannobile, Burgenland, Austria

Nose initially appears slightly open, but is then increasingly firm, youthful, light spicy, herbaceous and dried vegetal notes, some old oak, black berries and sour cherries, earthy notes, hint of tobacco. Ripe, tart, concentrated fruit on the palate, earthy and nutty notes, some old oak, smoky traces, some dark chocolate, persistent, medium body, slightly spicy with some dried herbs, some depth, tannins partly integrated, but partly still slightly astringent, elegant bite, hint of bacon, very good tart, juicy, smoky, salty finish. Needs time to mature.
