Rather firm, clearly woody-spicy, also tobaccoy, fennel-like vegetal, floral and somewhat yellow-spicy scent with tart yellow-fruity and a little smoky aromas. Tart, rather restrained fruit, woody and vegetal aromas, again a little spicy, some cardamom and white pepper, persistent, some power, distinct minerality, hints of bacon, moves far away from the usual Scheurebe image, but has substance, structure and depth, very good, rather firm, tart, slightly smoky finish. Should age excellently.
