2022 Bermersheim Klosterberg Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon trocken "essential", Rheinhessen, Germany

Implied floral scent of black and blue berries with a hint of dried herbs, earthy to underwood nuances, suggested tobacco, bacon, and juniper. Ripe, quite juicy, clear dark fruit, relatively fine and tender tannins, good sustainability, a certain melt on the palate, light bite, good sustainability, nutty and tobacco-like barrel tones, a trace of cocoa, roasted nuances, very good finish with restrained herbal-ethereal and again juniper notes.
