2020 Iphofen Julius-Echter-Berg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Quite deep, very slightly dried-floral citrus-stone fruit scent with herbal aromas, dried mushrooms and a hint of dark berries. Firmly woven, not completely dry fruit with nutty and dried-vegetable to yeasty aromas, lively acidity, grip of lots of ripe tannin, very slightly smoky on the palate, a bit of salted lemons, clear minerality, nutty traces, quite compact structure, some depth, very good, firm finish with grip and again a bit of black berries.
