2017 Iphofen Silvaner trocken VDP.Ortswein, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Cool, slightly muted nose, herbaceous and delicate yeasty notes, pomaceous and stone fruit, red currants and a whiff of wine gums. Fairly tart, still slightly muted fruit on the palate, sweetish and creamy, delicate yeasty traces, lively acidity, fairly persistent, fresh vegetal aromas in the background, light nutty notes on a good finish. Significantly better than the first sample.
