2005 Auslese Wiqem, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light spicy oak and caramel, partly candied pomaceous fruit, honeydew melon and some dried stone fruit with a touch of honey. Sweetish and spicy on the palate, candied fruit, fairly prominent acidity, hint of cloves, a lot of bite, not particularly deep, good finish.
