2018 Mittelburgenland Ried Fabian Pinot Noir trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Quite firm, somewhat smoky and moderately toasty aroma of ripe black and red berries with a little bread crust, a hint of tobacco, mushrooms and root vegetables as well as peppery nuances. Again firmly knit, ripe, somewhat warm fruit with dark wood spice and juniper-ethereal notes, present, fine sandy, somewhat drying tannin, has power and noticeable alcohol, persistent on the palate, smoky notes, a little salt in the background, very good, again a touch drying, with air increasingly juicy, finish with malty and ethereal tones.
