Firm, slightly herbal and a hint of meaty blackcurrant aroma with a little sour cherry, minty traces, some mushrooms and restrained barrel tones. Tart black fruit with nutty, smoky and slightly sooty aromas, some dried herbs, pepper and juniper, good persistence, lots of power and alcohol, minty tones, a hint of salt, some depth, very good finish with tart black fruit, ethereal notes and again some bitterish wood tones. Still needs to mature.

Best to drink: 2024-2032+. What our ratings mean
