Quite firm, somewhat tobacco and juniper aroma of ripe blackcurrants with dried planty, earthy and delicately mushroomy aromas. Tart black fruit with smoky, nutty and slightly sooty wood aromas, coffee grounds on the palate, some acid bite, slightly drying, fine sandy tannins, some persistence, noticeable alcohol, a hint of tar, black olives in the background, not eternally deep, good to very good, alcoholic and slightly wood bitter finish.
