Dark, somewhat herbaceous, nutty and hints of toasty aromas of predominantly black berries with a hint of leather, tobacco and coffee grounds. Tart black fruit with nutty and slightly sooty wood notes, some cocoa and herbal spice, fine sandy tannin, some substance and persistence, citrus zest in the background, chalky and smoky tones, slightly bitter, a little drying, good finish.
