2004 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC passito Muskatell, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly intense nose, muscat, cassis leaves, caramel and thyme honey, herbs and spices. Fairly soft and delicately creamy on the palate, smooth, caramelized apple fruit, some muscat, cassis and candied herbs, moderate acidity, slightly bitter piquant notes in the background, strong varietal character and shows its origin, good long finish.
