2003 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Riserva Palestina, Alto Adige, Italy

Ripew black berries and cherries on the nose, some of them lightly candied, spicy oak. Ripe, round and juicy on the palate, sweetish oak and cool minty notes, fine sandy and quite mature tannins, hint of chocolate in the background, full-bodied and creamy, not particularly deep, light oak on the finish.
