2021 Riesling Kabinett feinherb VDP.Gutswein "Jean-Baptiste", Rheinhessen, Germany

A little smoky-reductive, somewhat vegetal to dried-herbal and hinted at almondy scent of bright yellow fruits with slightly black berry aromas. Youthful, lean, slightly sweet citrus fruit with a hint of eucalyptus, lively, almost present acidity, some tannic grip, some persistence, salty tones, blackberry nuances and grapefruit in the background, good to very good finish.
