2017 Süd-Steiermark Ried Nussberg Sauvignon Blanc Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm and deep, quite polished, somewhat nutty aroma with relatively bright and almost cool yellow fruit aromas, herbal to floral notes, yeasty traces and a certain minerality. Dense, concentrated and very tightly knit, ripe, again almost cool fruit, smoky and nutty hints, very fine, yet taut acidity, lots of grip, persistent and deep on the palate, tart herbaceous-floral aromas, a hint of pepper, black berry nuances, intense minerality, still young and quite compact, very good to long, distinctly firm, juicy finish with minerality and fine spice. May mature further.
