2008 Süd-Steiermark Blauer Zweigelt trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Youthful nose, fairly intense, clear, straightforward preserved cherries and red berries. Fairly concentrated again on the palate, clean and refreshing, lively, even playful, juicy cherry and berry fruit, herbaceous notes, light mineral traces, elegant acid bite, integrated tannins, quite a bit of substance, clearly shows it origins, and has clear varietal character, very good finish.
