2017 Schelingen Grauburgunder trocken Ortswein, Baden, Germany

Fairly cool nose, light yeasty, nutty, vegetal and herbaceous notes, pomaceous fruit, hint of bacon and a touch of wine gums. Youthful, slightly muted, tart fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty notes, delicately creamy, waxy traces, hint of tobacco, elegant, lively acidity, light grip and some persistence, salty traces, still young, slightly muted on an otherwise good to very good finish.
