2015 Schelingen Kirchberg Chardonnay trocken RS, Baden, Germany

Tart nose, prominent vegetal and light floral notes, light smoky oak, citrus and pomaceous fruit, mineral traces. Ripe, sweetish, juicy, creamy warm fruit on the palate, elegant, fairly lively acidity, slightly muted, spicy, slightly nutty, smoky oak, fine sandy tannins, still slightly astringent, some substance and persistence, buttery notes and some caramel, noticeable high alcohol, hint of bacon, vegetal traces, minty traces, good to very good warm, alcoholic, sweetish, creamy finish.
