2015 Schelingen Kirchberg Grauburgunder trocken RS, Baden, Germany

Tart nose, still rather closed, yeasty and vegetal as well as prominent nutty notes, citrus and pomaceous fruit, light oaky as well as earthy and mineral traces. Ripe, juicy, sweetish, creamy fruit on the palate, light smoky oak, prominent mature apple notes, very elegant acidity, ripe, integrated tannins, hint of vanilly and butter in the background, persistent, noticeable warm alcohol, but also has cool mineral traces, still undeveloped, light nutty notes, not particularly deep, fairly alcoholic again on a sweetish, creamy, slightly astringent finish.
