2018 Schozach Roter Berg Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Clear, quite firm and polished aroma of black berries and a little cherry with dried floral, earthy and tobacco notes, Brazil nut and a hint of liquorice. Dark, a touch sour fruit, clear, toasty and coffee-spicy wood aromas, lots of dark chocolate, also gingerbread spice, some acidity and fine sandy tannin, ethereal-herbal notes, some minerality, very good, tart finish with lemony hints, bitterish wood and acidity as well as more dark juice with air.
