2017 Kleinbottwar Oberer Berg Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken "Der schwarze Löwe", Württemberg, Germany

Clear, polished, almost cool-looking fruit of red and black berries with cherry notes, floral tones, nutty-woody hints, herbs and a hint of pepper. Taut, tart, fine juicy, rather cool fruit, present, fine sandy tannin, a little smoke and hinted roasting, peppery and dried herbal, almost a little ethereal spice, persistent on the palate, still undeveloped, lots of bite, very good, tight, tangy-juicy finish
