2016 Lemberger trocken Der rote Löwe, Württemberg, Germany

Clear, fresh, slightly tart nose, predominantly black and a few red berries and cherries, light vegetal and earthy notes in the backgorund. Ripe, fairly firm, juicy, fresh fruit on the palate, herbaceous notes and peppery spice, light toasted notes, hint of chocolate and some caramel, fairly well integrated youthful, sandy tannins, delicate acid bite, good substance and persistence, lively style, some more chocolate and spicy notes on a good to very good juicy finish.
